VerusLink Receipts is built and run in Australia by James Whitehill, trading as VerusLink. Questions, complaints and deletion requests go to james@veruslink.au and are answered by a person.
We do not ask for, and do not want, your accounting login. VerusLink Receipts produces import files you hand to your bookkeeper; it never connects to Xero or MYOB.
Receipt data and account records are stored in the product database (Supabase) and receipt images in its object storage. Payments are handled by Stripe, which holds your card details; we never see or store a card number.
Your receipts are visible to your business only. Every request is scoped to your account on the server, not in the browser. Other customers cannot read your rows or your images.
James Whitehill can access stored data when you ask for support, or where it is required to keep the service running or to meet a legal obligation.
We never sell your data, and we never use it to train anyone's models. Receipt images and PDFs are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to read the printed fields. Anthropic processes them to return that result and does not use API content to train its models.
When you generate an export link for your accountant, anyone who has that link can open that export until it expires. Treat it as you would the spreadsheet itself, and send it only to the person who needs it.
You can export your receipts, with the images, at any time from inside the product. If you want the account and everything in it deleted, email james@veruslink.au and it will be removed, including the stored images. Cancelling your subscription does not delete your data, so ask if that is what you want.
